"Free" Music Downloads (revised)

Many years ago, the government has been starting not only to close the illegal websites for free music downloads but also to arrest those vendors who sell pirated copies of albums. At that time, many free music websites were closed. As for the vendors who sold copy albums in the night markets, they were afraid to be arrested so that they put a can or a container with a sign which read "Put money here." , but the vendors were not there. This scene is very interesting, but we still need to consider why so many people want to get the so-called illegal music. As for me, I think to download music from the Internet should not be illegal. Here are some points of why I support it.
First, in my stance, I think albums charge too high price. One CD costs me three to five hundred dollars. I know there are many processes involved to produce an album, but I believe the cost is not so high as the price they sell to the public.; music corporations claim that their precision instrument to record sound, the salary for the singers and the staff, and the fee of advertisements are expensive, but do they not charge too high for one CD? people have different thoughts toward the question, but in my perspective, I think the high price for each album is the main reason why people do not want to buy it. If I can get free music from the Internet, why do I need to buy an expensive CD? It is unnecessary for me.
Second, although music corporations claim that "trading" pirated albums is illegal because it violates the intellectual property law as well as the copyright, I do not think it is illegal to download music for free. For I think at least some free music websites do not share music for "earning money." To the fullest, that is just someone shares music with another. Through the Internet, we can choose what kinds of songs, therefore we can never buy every album just because of the only favorite song in it. To buy a CD is unnecessary for customers. As a result, I think to download music from the Internet is needed, and it should not be illegal.
Everyone must know there are still some websites for which we can download free music such as "Foxy" or "Baidu," etc. Have you ever noticed that these websites are located in China? You can identify it because of the simplified character the sites use. It seems the Chinese authority allows their websites to provide the download points, but Taiwan authority does not. The government also uses the copyright law to force most free musical websites to shut down. They say this is illegal and the public should have the right concepts. Yet I think although Taiwan authority does not allow people to reach the Taiwan free music websites, people can just turn to The Chinese websites. The Internet is unlimited; we can go on to websites of many countries.
Actually the word of "free" in the title has two meanings. One is costing nothing, and the other is no boundary. No doubt that is a pun. I also have my idols, but I download their songs from the Internet because their albums are too expensive for me. I know we need to respect people's intellectual property rights, but just like many people think, downloading free music from China websites is still thriving among the public.as the result, it is not totally our fault. Instead, it is time for the music corporations to think about the reasons why the public prefer downloading music rather than buying an album -- even the singer is their most favorite one. To via the Internet to do things has been a tendency. With better technologies, more and more people will download music from the Internet in the future.

The Sense of Achievement (revised)

Everyone has different goals to struggle for. In our daily lives, workers in various fields strive and students study hard. It seems an unchangeable routine. What do they actually struggle for? The former ones work not only to support families but also to gain respect and win applause, the latter ones want to get good grades because not only their parents ask them to do so but also students themselves want to win admiration. Therefore, the sense of achievement plays important role in driving people to achieve their goals.
Yet what is the sense of achievement? People will feel happy and proud of themselves after struggling for their goals, going through setbacks and finally achieving what they desire for. To me, that is the sense of achievement. They will get applause, admiration, and respect. And those are the rewards of their efforts. They enjoy in the atmosphere because the taste of the sense of achievement is sweet, just like the proverb says"sweetness comes after the bitterness." As for me, during my life of almost 20 year-old, I also get a lot of sense of achievement.
When I was a senior high school student, I studied harder than others in order to good grades. I enrolled in a good college. I felt superior to others because I did well on tests. The sense of achievement was not easy to get because contrary to others, I spent much more time on studies, not entertainment. Except studies, I also had different kinds of sense of achievement, including the first time I was the class leader in senior high, hosted the evening party of the club, worked as the executive of a drama,etc.
I learned many things such as how to copy with things,and how to arrange things in better ways. Being a class leader, I announced and posted important information to the classmates, and was in charge of the fairs of the class; being the host of the evening party, I needed to show myself up in front of the club members and react quickly. I gradually overcome my stage fright; last semester, as the executive of One-Act Play, I spent many days thinking ans arranged the process, checking and asking for suggestions. I encountered many difficulties and had to face much pressure. However, because of these experience, everything I conquered brought me the sense of achievement. The most valuable lesson I learned from are more important than the result.
The sense of achievement is like a stair. If you learn more experience and gain more sense of achievement from things, you will climb higher, and your horizon will become broader and broader. Put it simply, the sense of achievement is the content with one's own ability and performance. No matter how difficult and troublesome it is, if someday you finally finish it. The joy is beyond words. You will know everything you did before is worthy because the sense of achievement brings you the sweetness.

A Farewell

Last night Kahlen, Claire and I went to a farewell party. It was many bands' last time to perform. They would disperse for some reasons. Because our friend Keven and another friend were members of a band, so I went there and paid $250 dollars. The host is a Japanese exchange student who have studied in our school for one year. And tomorrow he will go back to Japan. He has many wonderful memories in Taiwan so he is reluctant to leave. The topic of the farewell party is "一期一會" which in Japanese means the last time to see. The host is called "Ya Ma Sa Ki San(山綺友亮)"

There was five or six bands in the party, and I still remember one band called "WaWa" is very excellent. The singer not only has impeccable voice but also is HANDSOME & CUTE!!! Oh~my :0

There was also a Korea family went on the stage to have songs. I figured that the family was Christians. They have five members in a family, the daughter played the piano, and the two sons sang songs with their parents. I was interested in the youngest brother. He was too shy to sing songs, and he even covered his ears to make himself not hear the songs....how interested the boy is.^^



And later on was a dancing performance. One of the dancers is our school brother. He almost can be called the dancing king! And another one is his school brother in senior high. Their dance is perfect and brings the feeling of excite to the audiences. They are cool guys!

The singer is Ya Ma Sa Ki San, and the guitar player is Keven, the bass is Small Flower( sorry I do not know his English name..), And the drummer is Joseph. Oh~how excellent are my classmates!





The farewell party gave me a feeling of sadness. They at least won't get together and stand on the stage for a long time. However, Each of them has their way to go, certainly the band is one of nice memories they have. Maybe when they get old, they take the pictures out or see the blog which is recorded with their band life, they will remember that how happy their youth life was!


At last, memory is not something people can buy. Just trust yourself, and just do it!

The Final, the Start

Oh~yeah~~ We finally finished the English Literature, the range this time was so large, so the test was more difficult than before. I know the English literature is so heavy that every Friday we are very reluctant to carry it. The most difficult subject finally finished! Although next week I still have three subjects to take, I feel no stress= =ha ha~Because after the Wednesday, I can have many big meals with friends!!!
I have decided to lead a meaningful life, therefore I determined to attend clubs, one is guitar, and another is sign language. Different from others, I go to the clubs rather than study for the national test or prepare for the graduate school tests. In my points of view, college life is a golden period to make friends with others because the interpersonal relationship is also very important. I cannot always live in my tiny world.
New semester, new life.
I expect the trip to Nepal with Claire very much! A new try, a new international view.

Tour of Our Department

Today was the happy tour of our department. We went to Shan-Yan Farm where is located in Tao yuan, and we set off about 8: 00 Am. The goal was 2 more hours distance from our school. On the bus, Claire and I made many ugly and funny pictures. = =....This is only ONE of these pictures.

When we got the farm, we saw a lot of field which contained sun flowers.

The main topic of this tour was "BBQ!" We had many pork, squid, chicken wing...etc to eat. Wow~how happy we are.

After that, we went to the sun flowers field. Claire and I plucked a sun flower and intended to give it to one of our roommate. It cost us only $25, I thought it was bargain. We also took many pictures with the beautiful sun flower, it made us more beautiful than before!

All in all, the tour was very happy, and many pictures would left to became our pretty memories. I hope everyday is so jocund.

On the Day of Dragon Boat Festival, everyone knows the rice dumplings become the necessary food on that day. People watch the dragon boat riding, eating the delicious rice dumpling. As for me, I not only eat rice dumplings, but also stand the eggs upright at noon. I believe eggs standing can bring my home good luck, therefore I do it every year. To stand an egg is not always an easy thing. Sometimes it only takes me a couple of seconds to stand an egg upright; but sometimes it takes me many minutes to stand one. Actually it depends on the fortune. But why on the Day of dragon Boat Festival people have the tradition to stand eggs? Because on that day, the gravity force is the heaviest, so the opportunity of making something upright on the ground is bigger than normal days.

This year I stand two eggs upright, I hope every thing can be very lucky, and good things can come more than two times. As a Taiwanese, I show one of the traditional festival every year-- stand eggs. It is very interesting, you can try it on the next Day of Dragon Boat Festival.

Happy Competiotion

Yesterday was the basketball game of our department. I arrived the court at 9:30AM, but I did not play basketball immediately. Therefore then, I took some funny pictures. I always like to enlarge some fun pictures andthen laugh at the strange actions of other.OH~MY,HOW BAD I AM?

At last I felt happy, I like the feeling to get alone with others. Although the sun was big, and the weather was hot, I still enjoyed in the jocund atmosphere. I like basketball -- without any pressure. I hope something memorable can last till I am old. In the four years, I want to pursue my dreams.... my ideal life, and the rosy future.

Basketball team went to Nantu

Last Saturday our basketball team went to Nantu. We eight girls rode motorcycles to Nantu, it cost us almost one hour getting there. After we put our luggage in a school sister's home, we went to Chi-Chi. In the passage we went through the so called the green tunnel. It was really beautiful. Chi-Chi is very crowded, and the weather is very hot. Therefore we do not linger there very long.

After we left Chi-Chi,we went to Carrefour to buy BBQ equipment. Then we had a great time to have the BBQ feast. At about 9:00pm, we finished the feast, and then sang the KTV in the school sister's room.(she has a KTV machine in her home)

We were all very happy. Then at about 11:00pm, we went to see the night scenery. The school sister took us to a place where we can see the whole Changhua city.It was beautiful.Actually we brought wines to there, but no one remember to bring the bottle-opener. We were a little bit disappointed...When we were there, a couple of people came to here, too. They told us it was very dangerous to come here so lately and worse of all, we all are girls.

After we went back, it was about 12:00pm, we started to play Uno -- a kind of poker. Before then I never played Uno, it was so interesting that we eight girls played it till 2:00am! Of course the next day we slept till lately. We got up at almost 10:00 o'clock. We originally planned to go to Sun Moon Lake, but we thought it was too far. It was 2 hours distant far from the home of the school sister. So we decided not to go there. Instead, we went to some places. We ate the most famous food in Nantu -- Nantu YeeMien. Wow~after I tasted it, I knew no wonder it is so famous because it was indeed delicious.

Then we went to a place called 松竹嶺. We were very lucky to see the festival of the temple. There were cheerful.

We had two happy days. It was the first time we basketball team held this kind of trip. I hope our team members can be more familiar after the trip. I like basketball, I like to enjoy my life.

My 20th Birthday

Yahh....I am 20 years old now. I think this time my birthday is different from the former ones. 20, means I can vote. I am a formal adult and also I have to take responsibility for most things. The day after my birthday is the Mother's day. Therefore we celebrated my birthday as well as mother's day on Saturday. My younger brother and I bought a necklace for Mom. She was heart-moved then. She was too happy to express any word. I know my mom always worries about me whether I sleep enough, eat well...etc. She, is my great mother.

My 20's birthday present was the permission of Nepal trip. At first I was disappointed because I thought my parents would buy me something. Yet I thought that was OK when my mother told me what was my birthday present. The Nepal trip will costs me about 60 thousand. I really hope I can learn something precious from this trip.

I have many dreams, and I can see further than others. I hope after 20, I can achieve my dreams faster than before.

I wish to be more reliable, to be more simplified, to be smarter, to be happier. :)

Poseidon

Last Wednesday I saw the movie- Poseidon in the language center. The movie's first hold was in my senior time. I still remember many classmates who had seen the movie gave high praise for the movie. They said the 3D was really exciting, but that time I was too busy to see the movie.

Finally I saw the movie. It was really exciting, and the plot was appealing,too. The story was happened on a high-level ship called "Poseidon." When they shipped for the destination, a big wave came to it. The scene was very thrilling, and the wave almost swallows the ship. The main actors and actresses were those people who do not want to wait for the death. They tried to find a way to get out of the ship. In the course, some of those people were scarified. It was very pity. At last they found a way out, and the helicopters arrived the pot and found the survivors-they.

It's a happy ending, but for somewhere I think the movie could be better. For example, besides the things happen on the ship, there must be another plot which occurred outside.Also, the ending can be more detailed. In my point of view,"Poseidon" is an exciting as well as thrilling movie, but not a good movie after all.

Mid-Term Week

This week is our mid-term week. For somehow I do not care tests like before! I do not know why, but I guess I do not want to abuse myself...haha~ It is just a joke.
In fact I know what kind of people I am. I am not that kind of people who are always interested in literary. I like something is useful and meaningful after I step to the society. But it does not mean I do not like study. Instead, I like to study and also I am that kind of people who think if something is useful and helpful for my future, I will go ahead to finish it. When I was in senior high, I had very powerful willpower in study because I know only through studying, can I enter a good college.
The English Literature test will be held on next Monday, so I still need to study this weekend...
However, a couple weeks ago, some of my friends and I just be invited to help an activity. Therefore this Saturday afternoon, we must go to help her. That's ok~I do not like to study home all the day.it is BORING.
Anyway~I hope the mid-term will pass as sooner as possible because I want to have big meal"S."

Be a Volenteer to Nepal !

Last Saturday I went to Tainan with Claire for the interview. Actually it was not a formal interview because I know the Nepal volunteer work did not have the limitation of attendants. Few days later, both of us were be sent an e-mail said we were chosen to be the volunteer. That time I was released because I was still afraid of not been chosen. This summer, I want to do something meaningful and different. The volunteer is one of them. Although the living quality and the hygienic habit are very poor. Moreover, July and August are their rain season. It means many problems like the rate of rotten food will accelerate; or be very inconvenient. But the emergent one which I need to conquer is the unfitness of their food or water. They organization people referred that most of people went there have the condition, so I think I cannot escape from the "Destiny", too. However, I have a faith that I can recover from the unfitness in a short time.

I was very excited to the volunteer work because I think it is a precious opportunity for me to see one of the corner of the world. The fee is NT$30,000 but not include the flight fee as well as the visa. Totally expenses are around NT$70,000~NT$80,000. I know it is expensive, but I believe if I can get and learn something from this work, the price is more worthy. After the mid-term,Claire and I will search travel agencies for the flight tickets. We want to seek which travel agency sell cheaper flight tickets. I hope everything will be good:)

The Love of Siam

This Thursday I went to the movie" The Love of Siam" with Claire and Karry. At first I thought this movie was the love of a man and a woman in Siam, the old name of Thailand. However, it was not so. The love was about two boys, They learned each other when they were young, but someday Tong, one of the two boys, needed to move. Therefore they were departed. A couple years later, Mew, the other boy of the two, was the vocalist of the band" August." One day they met on the street. From then, there love journey started.

The movie is talking about the love between two boys and the condition of Tong's family -- Tong's older sister wanted to go out with some friends, her father said ok but her mother did not want to agree, but at last her mother finally agreed because her father wished her to agree. At last, their daughter disappear in a forest, and never come back home.

The love of Mew and Tong is so sweet. They know each other,including the emotion. The plot is complicated because it is linked with two or three different things. There are joy as well as sadness. There are also a kind of sweetness of the love. It is really worthy to spend two and half hours sitting there and watch the movie.

When Claire and I came home, it was 12:40Am already, it was very late, but we stayed up until almost 2:00Am because we were searching the song in the movie. The songs are so touching that Claire want to buy the CD. I also like the movie very much. Sometimes I think whether someone should express love to his/her friend of the same gender or not? Human is a complex species, we never know how to act properly.

Anyway, the movie is very touching, and you will get much from it.

Two New Family Members

The week before last week my father took two new birds home. Right, they are our new family members now. They are also java sparrow like Gue- Gue. One of them is white with a few black feather and another is black, they are very cute. Now they also need us to feed them. When they hungry, they call loudly; they sleep when they are full.At first I think Gue-Gue can teach them how to behavior well, but out og blue, Gue-Gue and the female one have fight. They are both female but I do not know why they do not like each other. The black one is younger than the white one , so he always follow her.

Look at them, I find time is really fleeting. Five more years have passed. Gue-Gue is just like my intimate confidant, when I feel lonely, I want her company. She is not afraid of people now, I am so happy that she can sleep on my palm without sense of aware. She trusts me!Sometimes I think if one day Gue-Gue leaves me, how can I do? Maybe I need very long time to recover from the sadness.Yet now I just cherish everyday she keep company with me.

Say something more about my holiday. Yesterday my parents bought me a expensive crab. I like seafood especially crabs. They know that so they bought it for me. I seldom eat crabs because some spicies of them are high- priced. I was so happy and grateful. I love my family. I hope we can live in harmony forever.
P.S If I can speak bird language, the first sentence I want to tell Gue-Gue is that" I love you."

FLBL

This weekend we basketball team of DFLL went to Tainan to have competitions. Saturday morning we got on the bus and it took us almost three hours to there. Because of the holiday, there were traffic jam during that time. When we arrived the university, it was 2:30 pm, and our first competition was 4:00pm, so we still had time to take a rest. The first competition against to department of Spanish of Providence University. We won them at last, and we all are so happy that we could jump to the sky because we haven't won for a long time.

Therefore we needed to stay in Tainan for an extra day. In the afternoon, we competed to the Chinese Cultural University, but they were too strong to beat them. So we lost. At night we lived in a school sister's home. Her mother is very hospitalized, she prepared bed sheets for us, and provided us nice caring. The next day, we competed to the department of English of the same of -- Providence University. They were better than the former department which we competed to. We lost at last, but at least we could go home earlier. We were very tired after those competitions. In the bus which returned to Taichung, we all slept.

Although we lost, we were happy that we won a game. It was a glory for us!

It was a good experience and memory for me.

Camp of Photography

This three days I attended the camp of Photography which is held by photograph club. During the Friday night, and almost the whole Saturday and Sunday, I learned a lot about the skill of taking photos and some theories of photograph. Although sometimes the class was so boring that camp members seemed to doze off, we learned something that maybe we never know forever. The most interesting day is the Sunday, we went to Changhua (the garage of fan shape and Lugang). We rode motorcycles to there, and we saw many people who were holding the flags, but that kind of flags were associate with the god. They were the pilgrims of the god Matsu.

Yesterday is belong to one of the courses, we took black and white pictures by ourselves. We borrowed the single lens reflex cameras as well as double lens reflex cameras from the club, it was very interesting because it was the first time I try to learn this kind of camera. Not only learned skills of taking photos but also learned many people. There were two assistants in one group. In mine, one of the assistant she speaks very very slowly, really really slowly. And the other one he is very kind and steady, I like this kind of boys! Haha~

Although my two cameras had some problems, I still felt very happy. I love to hang out with others. I do not care whether my pictures will be OK or not, I was very happy yesterday. Thanks for the staff of the club and thanks for Kahlen attend the camp with me.

I think happiness, is the most important element to lead a meaningful college life.

I Wanna Lead a Meaningful College Life

I do not think the life style now I lead is the kind of life I want to lead. Since being the sophomore, I have lived out side but rather the school dorm. I have my own place, my own room, but somehow, I feel lonely. I have roommates, and they are very nice. We share many things to each other, and hang out sometimes. Sometimes I feel lonely when I stay home alone. Originally I think I am an independent person, and I can do things by myself, but I find out that I am not. I have my dreams, as well as my goals, and I am heading the achieve them. Maybe what I choose is destined a lonely way, yet I cannot bear with this. Whatever, I need to seek sources of happiness. I must step outside again, I do not want to lead an unhappy college life. After all, the college life is only last for 4 years. I do not want to lose many (much), things including abstract aspects and concrete aspects.
Good luck to myself, hope exists everywhere. And I am waiting for someone, someone I have being waited for a long time.

A New Foreign Friend

I learned a new foreign friend, Vinoth. He is an Indian, 23, and studying for chemistry PhD. We learned each other on the "ESL99.com." It is a good website to find foreign teachers or LE partners.
After we chatted on msn for several times, I asked him out and chatted face to face this Wednesday. He is taller than I thought. He is not only tall but also good looking. He is a good guy who is willing to practice English with me although he is always busy doing experiment. Also, I will teach him Chinese. He came to Taiwan when 2007, but he can only speak few Chinese because he spends lots of time staying in the lab.
I think it is a good opportunity for both of us to learn another "non-mother language" better. He is my first foreign friend, and I hope I can learn more foreign friends like him. An English major I am, I think this kind of activity is more practical than literature.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

This Sunday I went to see the movie" The curious case of Benjamin Button" with Claire. The main plot was about the main actor Benjamin, who was born with unimaginable feature; his appearance was very old and ugly when he was baby. He was younger as time goes on. When he was seven years old, he liked a young girl who is also seven. Day by day, Benjamin really became younger and younger, when he was ten's more years old, he decided to live another kind of life but not boring life as usual. After he went on adventure, he met some people who changed his life. He also fell in love with a woman, she brought happiness to Benjamin once. Benjamin even took part in the WWI, he is the only survivor in the ship. After he went home, he met the young girl who he liked when he was young. She became a beautiful girl who danced very good. They finally fell in love with each other. They also had a baby girl. However, Benjamin was younger and younger, but his wife was older and older. He knew someday he would become a baby and could not remember anything. So he left them. At the end of this film, Benjamin was a baby who looked so pretty and slept in his wife's arms, and never awake....

Once the people or things left us, they may not come back again. Cherich those people around you, and seize the time you have. Time is fleeting, no one can ask god to give more time than others'. I learn these from the movie.

My Pet Bird (revised)

Since I was a junior high school student, I have had the desire to own a pet which can accompany me. I asked my parents to allow me to own a pet bird, but both of them turned down my request because they thought I did not have the ability to take care of a bird. However, after I graduated from the junior high, my parents finally allowed me to raise a bird. At first I did not believe what I heard, but after a while, I was almost happy to jump to the roof! I promised them that I would do my best to take care the bird. Till now, the bird Gue-Geu is five years old. During the five years, I have learned a lot about how to take care of a pet bird, domesticate her, and understand her behavior.

Birds are more vulnerable than other larger pets such as dogs or cats. Therefore, the owners of birds must pay more attention to them. To raise birds, feeding them well is an important job. First, if you raise baby birds, you need to feed them by yourselves with patience because they are too young to take in food by themselves. Second, young birds require more nutrition, so regular feeding of good feed is a must. Besides, the hygiene of the environment is also important. With a nice habitat, birds will not fall ill easily. Therefore, you need to clean the birdcages at least once one week.

If you want your pet birds to obey your commands, you have to first make them trust you. For example, you can attract them to follow you by the feed, and then they will not be afraid of you. Instead, they will begin to follow you and trust you! When Geu-Geu was young, I trained her to fly upon my palms once I clapped. At first, she didn't know what claps meant; however, she figured out what it meant at last, although it took her some time. Actually, there are many ways to train your pet birds, and building trust is the basic step.

Owners can distinguish some behavior of their pets supposing long time enough. Hence I understand some behavior of birds. For example, if birds lower their their bodies while looking around, it means they are scared and want to fly away immediately. When you find birds twitter loudly, it has two possible meanings: One is that they want to go out of birdcages; the other one is that there is no feed or water in the cage, so they are hungry or thirsty. Sometimes you notice that a bird quivers for around two seconds and instantly flies away, you will know she just calls of nature. If one day you find that birds don't have any appetite for the feed, that means they don't feel well. Consequently you need to take them to the vet.

Geu-Geu is like one of my siblings, and she has been accompanying me for more than five years. I still remember clearly that time: I had to feed her three or four times a day when she was young. I have been learning a lot about how to take care of a bird, how to make her trust me, and what she wants to express by movements. I know her and she trusts me. Birds are just like humans who need trust in others. Few people who raise birds realize why birds can interact with people so well, but they really do. Animals require trust, just like the mankind.

Recently I always think why we have to study some useless textbooks. I want to learn language well, and then have the ability to communicate with foreigners confidently. I am a sophomore now, but it seems I still do not have the courage to chat with foreigners. No~I do not want to lead this kind of life. I just lack ways to learn foreigners.
some days ago, I learned a good way to chat with foreigners around the world, that is using "Skype." Although it costs me about $NT 400 a month, I think it is not expensive if I want to improve my English. I do not have any activities this winter vacation because I want to use the period of time to improve my English, including speaking and listening. Oh~I also want to improve my Japanese( my second language).
I am a ambitious person since I was junior high, so I have great dreams, and some day I will achieve them! I find my own light, which lead me to achieve dreams step by step.

The end of 2008

Before the end of 2008, my friends and I have a lot of activities. Really, a lot. 12/2o was the the Winter Solstice, and in our department, we held an assembly of eating sticky rice ball.

The night 12/24 ,Christmas Eve, after teaching English( my tutor job), I went to 東海university with some of my friends. It took us nearly one hour to achieve there. Because of the crowded people, we did not hear the bell ringing together. But we all have fun that night.

When Christmas, unfortunately, I had a fever. Therefore I could not go anywhere instead of staying on the bed and sleeping. That time was the period of flu attack, so many people fell ill that time.

The last night of 2008, we friends planned to have a big meal-- spicy hot pot. 鼎王, is the most famous spicy hot pot chain store in Taichung. The features are first, the blood of duck is what you can eat; second, the waitresses will bow to the consumers after the serve them. In the store you can really experience the feeling of being an emperor.The spicy hot pot is OK, but I command you that more people, more bargain price you share.

I hope 2009 is a good year that the economy will turn better. I also hope that in 2009, I can carry out my dreams and be more enthusiastic.

Hope will always exist if we keep optimist view of the world.
